Alerts

Warning

The telegram bot has not been setup to receive alerts for now.

Deck will check for two types of alerts daily: low stock alerts and expiring items alerts. Alerts will be displayed on the alerts page, and sent to the telegram bot.

Low Stock Alerts

An alert is triggered when the quantity of an item falls below a certain threshold. The threshold is set by the user during item creation (defaults to 0). The alert is displayed on the alerts page.

Expiring Items Alerts

An alert is triggered when the expiration date of an item is within 30 days. The alert is displayed on the alerts page.

Overdue Loan Alerts

This feature is not implemented yet.

An alert is triggered when the return date of a loan is overdue. The alert is displayed on the alerts page.
